| Palm Sunday, 9th April |
| |
 |
| |
| 10.30am |
Family Communion |
Join us for a service where we remember Jesus' bold entry into Jerusalem. Jesus turns the tables on the people of power and the powers that rule our lives. Jesus is by turns humble and angry, celebrated and misunderstood, applauded and reviled. Turn up and be turned upside down.
We will begin in Church House as usual, and then process into church. A service for all ages, so the Sunday Clubs won't be meeting. |
| 6.30pm |
A Passion Meditation |
A sequence of music and words leading from the boldness of Christ's entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to his betrayal and ultimate sacrifice. |

| 4.00pm - 6.30pm |
Maundy Meal |
Last year's Maundy Thursday Passover Meal with Communion was greatly appreciated by the younger families who came, so we'll be doing something similar this year (while learning from trying to pack too much in last year!). Once again we'll share in a meal, just like Jesus and the disciples at the last supper. This time we're having Shepherd's Pie and pudding. Activities, readings and prayers will accompany the meal, and we will share Communion, just like Jesus did. This will be suitable for ALL ages, including the youngest children. |

| Good Friday, 14th April |
| 11am |
Walk of Witness |
This is organised by Churches Together in Central Bromley. The walk will start at the South Entrance to The Glades (Intu) by Ethelbert Road. All ages welcome to this terrific act of witness. |
| 1.30pm |
An Hour at the Cross |
Back at St. Mary's ... an hour to reflect on the events of Good Friday. This year the theme will be 'Stations of the cross for our times'. Images, music, readings, reflections and prayers will lead us through the passion story. More suitable for adults. (Please note that this service does not require movement around the church). |
| 3.30pm |
Hot Cross Bun Service |
Come and join in creative activities that will help us explore what happened on the cross. All ages will enjoy this hands-on way of worshipping through craft, song and film. We finish our time together with hot cross buns and a cup of tea. |
| 7.30pm |
The Crucifixion |
St Mary's Festival Choir, directed by Beverley Howard, will sing Stainer's well-loved 'The Crucifixion' with Anne Clements (organ) and soloists - Ben James (Tenor) and Chris Moore (Bass). There are congregational hymns in this Easter cantata. Free admission with a retiring collection for St. Christopher’s Hospice. |
