Maundy Thursday, 13th April

4.00pm - 6.30pm Maundy Meal

Last year's Maundy Thursday Passover Meal with Communion was greatly appreciated by the younger families who came, so we'll be doing something similar this year (while learning from trying to pack too much in last year!). Once again we'll share in a meal, just like Jesus and the disciples at the last supper. This time we're having Shepherd's Pie and pudding. Activities, readings and prayers will accompany the meal, and we will share Communion, just like Jesus did. This will be suitable for ALL ages, including the youngest children.

7pm for 7.30pm Fellowship Meal followed by Holy Communion If your preference is for something quieter, a hot meal will be served in church at 7.30pm, and will be followed by Holy Communion. The service will end with the stripping of the altars.

Good Friday, 14th April

11am Walk of Witness This is organised by Churches Together in Central Bromley. The walk will start at the South Entrance to The Glades (Intu) by Ethelbert Road.
1.30pm An Hour at the Cross Back at St. Mary's ... an hour with led reflections.
3.30pm Hot Cross Bun Service Short family friendly service followed by refreshments.
7.30pm The Crucifixion St Mary's Festival Choir, directed by Beverley Howard, will sing Stainer's well-loved 'The Crucifixion' with Anne Clements (organ) and soloists. There are congregational hymns in this Easter cantata.
Free admission with a retiring collection.

Easter Day, Sunday 16th April
8.45am Holy Communion A simple, spoken service of Holy Communion in traditional language (Book of Common Prayer).

9.30am Bacon Butties (and veggie alternative) Everyone welcome!
10.30am Family Communion Christ is risen! A joyous celebration of the news that changes everything and the culmination of our Lent learning about the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Come and celebrate, with families altogether in church. Buck's Fizz afterwards!
6.30pm Evensong An evening service in traditional languauge with hymns, psalm and an anthem sung by the choir. A peaceful, reflective end to the day.
