News from Revd. Andrew McClellen about Bromley Youth Net

Dear friends

It was great to see so many young people at our LIVE Treasure Hunt on Sunday 20th June.  The next event in our Bromley Youth Net programme will be THIS SUNDAY (4th July) with a Film Quiz Night at St John's.  The session will begin at 6.30pm and end at 7.30pm.  Please let me know if your child(ren) would like to attend.  As always, each young person is welcome to bring up to three friends.

We have deliberately chosen an event which is not too energetic because we're hoping that a good number of our young people and their families may want to join us for the St John's Church Family Walk and Picnic earlier the same day.  This is our first completely live all-age social since the start of lockdown, and we are looking forward to welcoming friends from a number of different churches around Bromley!  Meet 12-12.30 in the car park at Coolings Garden Centre between Pratt’s Bottom and Knockholt (postcode TN14 7NN).  Bring your own lunch or eat at the restaurant (mask required for this).  Please wear trainers / stout shoes and long trousers (in case of stinging nettles!)

Looking further ahead, the final Youth net session of term will be on Sunday 18th July, when we hope to have a barbecue in the St John's vicarage garden.  Further details to follow nearer the time.

Thanks and all the best - hope you stay safe and healthy

Andrew
