Safeguarding is grounded in being confident and well informed
Everyone with a role at St Mary's is asked to take the basic Church of England Safeguarding Awarenes course, which takes about an hour to complete. Other people may also want to increase their safeguarding awareness by taking this free course. You can access it directly by clicking on the following link:
https://safeguardingtraining.cofeportal.org/ and beginning by creating your new account.
Please contact Lisa Morris at email@example.com our Parish Safeguarding Officer, or Alan Keeler, Anne Yolland or any of the Safeguarding Team if you need any further information on these courses.
There are no wrong questions and we are very happy to be of help.
Our PCC has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website http://www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding/promoting-safer-church-safeguarding
