Get married in St. Mary's
If you or your partner is resident in the parish of St. Mary's, and neither of you have been previously married, you are entitled to be married at our church.
To book a wedding, you must make contact with the Churchwarden. The Churchwarden will then arrange for you to meet with a member of the Clergy to talk you through the issues involved.
St. Mary's runs an annual marriage preparation day on a Saturday in the Spring for those getting married in church that year. Using special materials, you will be able to learn more about your partner's hopes and expectations than perhaps you realised. Though not compulsory, those who have attended in the past have said how helpful and enjoyable the day had been.
Wedding Fees 2013
A booking only takes place when a couple fill out a banns of marriage application form and return it to the Churchwarden with a non-returnable deposit of £25 made payable to St. Mary's P.C.C.
