Events at St Mary's

Our special and regular event programme

This is a list of St. Mary's activities for the coming weeks (excluding services and our regular fortnightly study groups).

 

Sunday 7 March at 3 p.m.

“The Lighter Side of Love” – Christine Birch and Desni Handford (sopranos) with Anne Clements (Piano). Free admission followed by tea and cakes.

Sunday 14 March at 3 p.m.

Bromley Suzuki Piano School Spring Concert. Free admission followed by tea and cakes.

Sunday 21 March at 3 p.m.

“Tea for Two” - Eleanor Tagart and Beth Chen play four hands on one piano. Free admission followed by tea and cakes.

Good Friday 2 April at 7.30 p.m.

“The Crucifixion” by John Stainer performed by St Mary’s Festival Choir conducted by Michael Sherwin, accompanied by Anne Clements. Free admission with retiring collection.

Saturday 17 April at 7.30 p.m.

Lewisham Concert Band perform “USSR, USA and us” with Bass Trombone solos. Admission on the door £6, interval refreshments.

Sunday 18 April at 3 p.m.

“Dear Ivor” a tribute to Ivor Novello with James Hay (tenor) and Anne Clements (Piano). Free admission followed by tea and cakes.

Saturday 8 May at 7.30 p.m.

Bromley Symphony Players, directed by Bernard Brook, in Mainly Baroque. Admission £6 on the door, all proceeds to the Woodland Trust.
